My Background
It started as an anniversary surprise—tickets to The Dinner Detective. No agenda, no plan, just a night out. Somewhere between the first clue and the second course, I got pulled into the story. A question here, a bit there, a room full of strangers leaning in—and suddenly I was the one steering the moment. The detectives played off me, the crowd laughed, and something clicked: the same focus and composure I’d honed in the Air Force translated perfectly to live performance. What began as a joke turned into an impromptu audition…and the beginning of a new career.
From that night forward, I chased the craft with discipline and respect. I moved from audience plant to lead Host/Detective, learning how to read a room in real time, preserve story logic under pressure, and keep a timeline on rails while making it feel effortless. Improvisation became a toolkit—listening hard, landing clean offers, protecting scene partners, and turning curveballs into payoff. I built the muscle memory that editors and ADs love: repeatable choices, precise eyelines, continuity you can cut on.
The bridge from flightline to spotlight isn’t as strange as it sounds. The Air Force taught me to own the details, lead calmly, and deliver when it counts. Acting demanded the same—plus empathy, humor, and the courage to tell the truth in front of a lens. I bring both worlds to set: mission-level reliability and a performer’s instinct for alive, human moments. That night at the mystery dinner didn’t just entertain me; it rerouted my life. Now, every project gets the same promise—show up prepared, elevate the scene, and give you performances you can build a story on.
My Start!
My journey into acting is a story of unexpected discovery and natural talent. Before finding my passion for the arts, I served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where I developed a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. My military background gave me a unique perspective on discipline, resilience, and dedication—qualities that have seamlessly transitioned into my acting career.
Jeffrey’s entry into the world of acting came quite by chance during an anniversary weekend with his wife at a Dinner Detective show. Throughout the evening, Jeffrey’s natural charisma and quick thinking led him to become an unwitting star of the night. As the show progressed, he found himself effortlessly playing along with the actors, surprising both the cast and audience with his ability to adapt to the roles and scenarios thrown at him. His performance was so convincing that the cast initially believed he was a professional actor planted in the audience to keep them on their toes.
They Thought I Was An Actor Sent to Shake Things Up!
Encouraged by the actors who believed in my talent, I auditioned for the Dinner Detective show and quickly moved from minor roles to starring as Detective 2, a co-starring role that allowed me to further hone my craft. The transition from military service to acting may seem unconventional, but for me, it felt like a natural progression—a new way to channel my experiences and skills into storytelling and performance.
Since that fateful night, I’ve dedicated myself to learning and growing as an actor. I approach every role with the same commitment and intensity that defined my military career, always striving for authenticity and connection with my characters. My journey from Air Force Staff Sergeant to promising actor is a testament to my adaptability and passion for new challenges.
Today, I continue to pursue my acting career with enthusiasm and determination. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or behind the scenes, I bring a unique blend of real-world experience, creativity, and professionalism to every project.
